A Unique Adventure
Real Hunting, Real Fun. A Rewarding Experience
About Namibia
Namibia has a population of 2.2 million and is represented by eleven ethnic groups. Windhoek is the capital, with a population of around three hundred and fifty thousand (350 000) people. The official language is English, but several indigenous languages are also spoken. It is not uncommon to hear 3 to 4 different languages in one conversation. The infrastructure is excellent with a well-maintained road network. The telecommunications network is efficient, covering most of the country. Medical care consists of both public and private hospitals, modern diagnostic facilities, and world-class practitioners and has medical facilities in all towns.
Namibia is a very safe country and the locals are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.
Our Story
Agarob Hunting Safaris is a family run outfit in the true sense of the word. The land is owned by the Schickerling family, (3 generations) and is a working cattle ranch, (58 square miles, 37 000 acres). Our choices of hunting differ from the traditional walk and stalk method, hunting with 4×4 or if you are the more adventurous hunter, clients are offered the opportunity to experience hunting the rugged mountains of the Khomas Hochland on horseback. Our Horses are well-schooled, sure-footed and grew up in the mountains, so even beginners can enjoy this unique experience. Hunting on horseback gives Hunters the opportunity to hunt in areas that are inaccessible by vehicle and more territory can be covered than on foot. Non-hunting companions/riders, friends, family and children are welcome to join in the experience and share in the excitement of the hunt.
We guarantee you a rewarding experience and will do everything possible to full-fill your African dream. Families are welcome and we take great pleasure in assisting and introducing your children (the next generation hunters) to the world of ethical and traditional hunting. You have the opportunity to bring your spouse, your family and other hunters with, because the camp will be exclusive to you and your party, of up to 10 people.
